Sure wish Google knew how to use Search...

So I use Google Pay from time to time.  Wanted to find out if Fresh Market supported it.
That should be easy, right?  Go to the pay.google.com site and find out....
Well, no, it's not easy!
You go to the site and click on Where To Use and then Stores - you get a screen full of pictures!
Now how hard would it have been to put a search box on the page, you type in "Fresh" it comes up with stores with Fresh in the name and shows some icons like "Yes", "Soon", "Ask this store to support Google Pay".

But no, you have scroll page after page looking at images (what do vision impaired people do??) and maybe you'll see the logo.  Did I mention that they are not even sorted alphabetically??

Oh, wait, did I mention this was Google, the company that makes a gazillion dollars a day providing a search function?  Unbelievable!  A friend of mine mentioned once when I was grousing about web sites that had huge pictures and very little functionality that it was because of Millennials.  I guess they can't process printed information or something...

I would accept buttons to switch between grid view and list view (like Google Drive does)

Then there might have been a chance that they could figure out how to do an alphabetical list.

Another thought is that apparently no marketing savvy person looked at the site.  What better way to find out what stores/sites people want to use Google Pay at than to have them tell you they're looking for it?

That's the rant for today....

Better hurry to Toys R Us. Having logos and not locations given their geo data on maps database is useless too.
